Short version: your Salesforce data never leaves your browser. We operate no servers, collect no analytics, and never see your reports.
What the extension accesses
- Your Salesforce session cookie. Used only to authenticate requests to your own Salesforce org, from your own browser, exactly as the Salesforce website itself does. It is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
- Report and folder names. Fetched through the official Salesforce API purely to display the selection list inside the extension popup. This information stays in the popup and is discarded when it closes.
- Report contents. Downloaded by Chrome's built-in download manager directly from Salesforce to your computer. The extension never reads, processes, or transmits report contents.
What is stored, and where
The following are stored locally in your own browser only, using Chrome's extension storage. None of it is transmitted to us:
- Your install date, used to run the free trial
- Your license key and its activation status, if you purchase one
- Interface preferences, such as your chosen export format
What leaves your browser
Exactly one thing: if you enter a license key, that key is sent to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy (privacy policy), to verify the purchase. No Salesforce data, no personal data, and no usage analytics are ever transmitted to us or to anyone else.
What we do not do
- No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
- No accounts, no sign-up, and no email collection by the extension
- No access to any website other than Salesforce domains and the license server
Permissions and why they are needed
- cookies — to read your own Salesforce session cookie so API calls to your own org are authenticated
- downloads — to save the exported report files to your computer
- storage — to keep the trial date, license key, and preferences locally
- activeTab — to detect which Salesforce org the current tab belongs to
- Host access to Salesforce domains — the extension functions only on Salesforce; api.lemonsqueezy.com is contacted solely for license key validation
Payments
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details.
Children
This is a business productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13.
